Job description: 

Improve and maintain the quality and food safety system according to the company policy and FrieslandCampina requirements

  • Establish procedure to monitor the quality and food safety system.
  • Carry out and follow up the internal audit and the corrective action of all departments concerned.
  • Coordinate with working team to be readiness for the surveillance audit, customer & consumer and authorities audit
  • Verify, validate and review the effectiveness of quality system.
  • Conduct the quality and food safety training to the employees.

Leading and ensure the Food Safety Management System and related system are effectively established, implemented, maintained and updated in all departments and staff execution.

  • Lead as food safety team leader to drive food safety and hygiene improvement
  • Drive food safety and hygiene improvement projects in factory to meet FrieslandCampina and international standard
  • Verify the effectiveness of hygiene problems investigation, root cause analysis and ensure the corrective action and preventive action to avoid problem re-occurrence.
  • Conduct the quality and food safety training to the employees.

Ensure that the procedure work instruction and specifications in working areas are updated.

  • Carry out the internal audit both advance and not advance notice.
  • Follow up the corrective action of CAR form.
  • Set up and implement the corporate procedure and /or procedure, which can be effect to product quality and safety.
  • Provide the procedure, work instruction and specification, which are requested from all departments.
  • Control the documentation system.

Coordinate and facilitate to internal and external organization (government, authorities and key customers)

  • Coordinate or give the information to the government or key customers.
  • Attend the assigned meeting as the representative of company.

Coach and develop competency of subordinate 

  • Mentor and motivate team members
  • Build and execute development plans for team members at subordinate levels of the organization
  • Coach and supervise their team
Required Knowledge: 

Required Qualifications;

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Microbiology, Food Science, Food Technology or Related fields.
  • Understanding of factory organization and accountabilities and responsibilities
  • With good understanding of the food manufacturing processes (dairy industry is preferable)
  • Strong knowledge in Quality and Food Safety system
  • Understand in problem solving tools and applicable
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and management level (HACCP, GMP, ISO9001:2000) preferably in food industry
  • Functional knowledges :
    • Highly developed in Operation knowledge
    • Highly developed in particular product knowledge and manufacturing technology
  • Managerial and Leadership skills
    • Developed ability to convince, coordinate with concerned parties to achieve results
    • Developed ability to escalate issues to the appropriate function.
